Triglav Re finished the first half of 2006 with the profit before tax amounting to EUR 6.8 million, which represents an increase of 95.0% compared to the same period of the previous year.

Compared to the first half of 2005, the gross reinsurance premium increased by 1.0 %, while the net premium increased by 21.0% and it amounted to EUR 19.5 million. In respect of loss development the period under review was extremely favourable on domestic and international markets.
