Privacy Policy – Recruitment Procedures

Pozavarovalnica Triglav Re, d.d. (hereinafter: “the Company”) pays special attention to the protection of personal data. Below, we would like to inform you about the processing of your personal data when you apply for a job vacancy via our website.

  1. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing

Your personal data is processed exclusively for the following purposes:

  • receiving and reviewing job applications,
  • conducting candidate selection procedures,
  • contacting you regarding your application and potential interview,
  • candidates invited to the final round of interviews may also be included in DNLA competency assessment testing,
  • if selected for employment, preparing a job offer or employment contract,
  • with your consent: storing data for the purpose of informing you about future job opportunities.

Legal basis for processing:

  • Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): processing is necessary to take steps prior to entering a contract,
  • Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): voluntary consent, in cases of data storage for future job openings.
  1. Data We Collect

Through the online application, we may process the following data:

  • name and surname, date of birth
  • contact details (email address, phone number),
  • curriculum vitae (CV),
  • cover letter,
  • information on education, experience, and skills,
  • other information you provide in your application or attachments.

Data is collected directly from you via the online application form.

  1. Processing via Online Form

Job applications are submitted via an electronic form on our website. By submitting the form and clicking the confirmation box, you explicitly give your consent for data processing for the purposes stated above.

For proper form functionality, we may also record technical submission data (time, IP address), solely for the purpose of ensuring security and preventing abuse.

  1. Automated Decision-Making

The Company does not use automated decision-making or profiling in recruitment procedures. All applications are individually reviewed by authorised personnel.

  1. Retention of Personal Data

Your data will be retained:

  • until the conclusion of the selection process or at least for the period prescribed by regulations regarding the retention of data of non-selected candidates;
  • if you give consent for further processing, we will retain the data until withdrawal, but no longer than one year from the submission of the application.

After the retention period, data will be deleted or securely destroyed.

  1. Data Disclosure

Your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties, nor will it be transferred to third countries or international organisations. Access to your data is restricted to authorised personnel within the Company involved in recruitment procedures.

  1. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • request access to your personal data,
  • request rectification or erasure of your data,
  • request restriction of processing,
  • object to processing,
  • request data portability, if technically feasible,
  • withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal,
  • lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (https://www.ip-rs.si) if you believe your data is being processed contrary to regulations.
