Triglav Insurance Company, which represents the centre of Triglav Group, is one of the leading financial institutions in Slovenia and also in the territory of the former Yugoslavia. Besides the companies from the insurance and reinsurance industry the Group also includes investment funds, asset management and banking. The Financial group consists of subsidiaries and associated companies in which Triglav Insurance Company participates with over 20.0%.

Triglav Insurance Company offers a broad range of non-life, life and pension insurance. The health insurance products of Triglav Health Insurance Company Ltd. which is a specialised health insurer within the group are complementary to those offered by the parent company.

Triglav Group, in addition to the insurance company, reinsurance company and specialised health insurer in Slovenia, includes also insurance companies in Czech Republic, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro and Serbia.

The fundamental and primary activity of Triglav DU d.o.o., Triglav Finančna družba and Triglav Naložbe finančna družba investment fund management companies is asset management. This involves investments into securities, loans and other financial instruments. The purpose is to maximize the profitability of portfolio investment through active management of the investments into companies where Triglav entities are stakeholders.

The Triglav Group includes Triglav DU – one of the leading investment fund managers in Slovenia, and has established itself first as a manager of authorised investment fund management companies and later also of other such companies. Lately, the company has been gaining market share as a mutual fund manager.

Banking is a strategically important activity of the Triglav Insurance Group, which on the one hand rounds off its range of products and services and, on the other hand, it enables development of bankassurance products. Triglav Insurance Company is a shareholder in Abanka Vipa, one of the largest Slovene banks.
